Koral Zaarur, Law Clerk

Koral Zaarur's comprehensive practical experiences in transactional law and litigation combine with her academic ambitions to build a dynamic legal career grounded in strategic analysis and real-world impact.

Koral is currently pursuing her J.D. at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.  She brings a sharp focus on legal writing and research, serving as Executive Managing Editor of the Corporate and Business Law Journal, where she also has a forthcoming publication analyzing executive accountability in high-profile shareholder litigation, focusing specifically on Elon Musk.

Koral further developed her research capabilities as a Legal Research Aide, creating a comprehensive directory of legal and business resources for Arizona entrepreneurs. Her legal writing skills were refined in her work with the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Clinic, where she supported clients with contract drafting. During her studies, she has externed for firms focusing on litigation, helping her develop her practical legal skills.

Experience

Koral's experience spans litigation support, transactional drafting, pleading and motion drafting, and strategic case analysis.  She remains involved in extracurricular activities through her role on the Executive Board of the Corporate and Business Law Society.  Koral has been recognized for her academic achievement, notably receiving a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in her Evidence course.

Prior to law school, Koral graduated summa cum laude from ASU with dual degrees in Business Law and Political Science.  She spearheaded numerous clubs, events, and initiatives throughout her undergraduate career, and received national recognition for her efforts.

Koral remains actively engaged in civic and legal communities and is passionate about mentorship, policy, and advocacy
