From civil rights and public records litigation to business disputes and resolution, Lauren enjoys delving into a broad range of complex and challenging legal issues.
With an eye for detail and an interest in creative solutions, Lauren works closely with Zwillinger Wulkan’s senior attorneys, researching and drafting pleadings, motions, and briefing at all stages of trial and appellate litigation. During her time at the firm, she has gained broad experience practicing in both state and federal courts, including the Arizona Court of Appeals, the Arizona Supreme Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. In state court, Lauren assists with complex commercial litigation and has contributed briefing on novel legal issues involving Arizona’s public records and historic preservation laws. Her federal practice primarily involves helping clients challenge violations of their constitutional rights.
Prior to joining Zwillinger Wulkan, Lauren served for three years as a judicial law clerk in the United States District Court for the District of Arizona, where she drafted orders and reports and recommendations for a diverse range of civil matters, including Social Security Disability appeals, habeas corpus, employment law, and life insurance. For a portion of that time, Lauren worked as a specialized Social Security Disability law clerk and drafted orders for eight District Judges in the Phoenix division. Her clerkships afforded her unique insight into federal litigation that continues to inform her current practice.
