Jennifer Rebholz is a distinguished Senior Counsel at Zwillinger Wulkan, where she represents plaintiffs in complex civil litigation matters.  Since late 2023 Jennifer has focused her practice on representing plaintiffs in catastrophic injury and wrongful death matters.  Approximately 90% of her current practice is plaintiff side injury and wrongful death litigation, the remaining 10% is as a neutral ADR.  She brings the perspective of a former defense litigator to injured individuals and families.

As a State Bar of Arizona Certified Specialist in Personal Injury and Wrongful Death, a distinction held by less than 2% of Arizona personal injury attorneys, Jennifer has established herself as a leader in her field.  Her extensive trial experience includes over 35 jury trials and hundreds of arbitrations, earning her membership as an Associate in the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).

Jennifer’s practice focuses on catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims, including complex transportation cases and premises liability matters.  She has particular expertise in catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims, with extensive experience handling cases across Arizona's counties.  Her unique perspective in civil litigation stems from her experience on both sides of the courtroom.  Prior to transitioning to plaintiff’s practice, Jennifer spent thirteen years (2005 – 2017) as captive counsel for a major insurance company and six years after that (2017 – 2023) as a civil defense litigator representing businesses and insurers.  That experience now informs how she builds cases for injured clients and has provided her with invaluable insights into case strategy and resolution.  Jennifer has handled cases across Arizona's judicial landscape, representing clients in most of the state's counties.  Jennifer is also available on a limited basis for mediation and arbitration in injury and wrongful death matters, representing about 10% of her current practice.

Experience

Currently serving as Chair of the State Bar of Arizona's Board of Legalization Specialization Working Group, Jennifer continues to shape the future of legal practice in Arizona.  Her leadership extends to her past role as President of the State Bar of Arizona (2021 ‐ 2022), where she championed professional excellence and civil advocacy.  As a member of the Arizona Supreme Court’s Ethics Advisory Committee, Jennifer helps members understand the ethical rules and how they are applied to real life scenarios.  Jennifer holds a J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law and is admitted to practice in Arizona and the United States District Court for the District of Arizona.  Jennifer has tried over 35 civil jury trials as a first chair in fives different Arizona counties including Maricopa, Pima, Coconino, Pinal and Yavapai.  Her commitment to the legal profession is evident through her active membership in numerous professional organizations, including the American Association of Justice and the Arizona Association of Justice.
